Meet Simon, the pony who’s technically a horse but spiritually a hippo. He’s as wide as one and only just taller – making him the perfect cuddle-sized companion for a child who wants a best friend with hooves.
Simon will happily pop around a course of up to 60cm (maybe would go bigger but we haven't tried) – and he does it with enthusiasm, commitment and determination . He’s even off to a hunter trial soon, because he's so trusted with our nervous riders! He’s game for anything!
If you’re leading Simon anywhere, pack snacks and allow five years. He walks like he’s on a spa day. But hey, slow and steady wins the race (eventually). Under saddle, Simon is rhythmical and forward enough as long as you remember to use your legs. He’s a great confidence giver for nervous riders – steady, kind, and never silly. He springs into canter adorably! 
Looking for a happy hack? Simon is a saint. First, last, middle – he doesn’t mind. Big groups? Chill. Cantering? Still chill. He’s the pony equivalent of a zen master.
On the ground, Simon is a cuddle monster. He loves fuss, attention, and being admired. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his gentle nature and full-hearted effort in everything he does. Simon would suit a nervous or novice child or adult, who wants a fun, safe, and loving pony. He’s not going to win the Grand National, but he will win your heart.
