5yo Dartmoor Gelding 12.2hh based in Ingatestone Essex: 
Gavin is a well-bred, registered Dartmoor gelding with all the quality to make a cracking show pony type. Correct, attractive and full of presence, he’s the sort that catches the judge’s eye as soon as he walks in the ring.
He’s still young and needs further schooling – but that’s very much by design. If he’d been drilled to death in the school he wouldn’t be the fun-loving, enthusiastic pony he is now… and he certainly wouldn’t still be sound enough to see his old bones. He’s been produced sensibly and is ready for someone to put their own finishing touches on him.
Gavin isn’t going to teach a child to canter, but once they can ride, he’ll happily win them plenty of rosettes in the ring. He has a talented jump, moves nicely, and is bold without being silly.
He’s done pony camp, taken everything in his stride, and is an all-round, genuine and lovely pony to have on the yard. Easy to like, easy to do, and full of potential for the right home.
