Fly – the golden (very) oldie everyone wishes they’d learned on!

Fly is a truly special pony, and writing this advert hasn’t been easy. We aren’t in the habit of selling much older ponies, but Fly found her way to us and we don’t feel that a 24/7 turnout system like ours would be the fairest long-term home for her. What she does deserve is a child of her own to teach, cherish, and carry confidently through the early (and exciting) stages of their riding journey.
Fly is an absolute angel in every sense of the word. Kind, caring, and genuinely willing, she will jump anything you point her at with the same honest, enthusiastic attitude she brings to everything she does. She is careful, keen, and forgiving – the sort of pony who builds confidence, not nerves.
Fly has so much knowledge to give. She would happily show a child the ropes, teaching them balance, feel, confidence, and correct technique, setting them up with the best possible foundations to continue their journey. She has not a bad bone in her body, and her nature is worth its weight in gold.
This is a pony who has done it, seen it, and now wants nothing more than to look after her small person. A truly rare opportunity to find a genuine schoolmistress with a heart of gold.
The right home is far more important than anything else – Fly deserves to be someone’s once-in-a-lifetime pony.
